Join artist Lucy Pedro for an introduction to the art of lino printing.
Across the session, you will:
- Draw your own original image or design
- Transfer your design onto a linoleum block
- Learn a variety of carving techniques
- Apply ink effectively to your linocut block
- Produce a series of prints by transferring your design onto paper
Explore both the technical skills and creative possibilities of lino printing, leaving the workshop with your own handmade prints and the confidence to continue experimenting at home.
All materials are provided and no prior experience is required, just bring your creativity!
Please note: This workshop uses sharp carving tools, so a reasonable level of wrist dexterity and grip strength is recommended. Closed-in shoes are required for safety.

Lucy is a multidisciplinary artist working across printmaking, illustration, and cyanotype. Her practice is rooted in experimentation and image-making, with a strong emphasis on fostering connections between art and community.
