Griffith Tourism Hub is open daily and staffed by friendly locals. It’s a great place to find out what to see and do while in the region.
The Griffith Tourism Hub stocks an extensive range of maps and guidebooks, including information on walks, cycling trails, local monuments, lookout points, National Parks, bird watching, places of interest, and experiences. The Hub also has a wonderful range of regional produce, including olive oil and balsamic vinegars, olives, jams & honey, condiments & preserves, prunes, nuts, sweet treats and more. Browse the range of ready-made regional produce hampers or customise your own – perfect gifts for friends and family! You will also find Griffith merchandise and Australiana giftware in the gift shop.
The Hub has a wonderful display area which tells the story of Griffith and the influence of different groups throughout the years – from indigenous tribes to Italian migrants, returned soldiers, and multiculturalism – on Griffith’s evolution to the city it is today, rich in culture and diverse in industry. The display area also features a short seven-minute visual presentation, providing visitors with a snapshot of all that Griffith and the region has to offer.
And while you are at The Hub, don’t forget to check out the magnificent Stained-Glass Window, depicting the view over Griffith from our scenic lookouts.
