Griffith City Council Sponsors 2025-26 BCiB Men’s Division 1 State Pennant Finals Bowls NSW is delighted to announce that the 2025-26 BCiB Men’s Division 1 State Pennant Finals will be hosted at Griffith Exies Sports Club in the Riverina Murray Region from 4–6 August 2026.
The State Pennant Finals is one of the highlights on the Bowls NSW calendar, featuring qualifying clubs from regions spanning all areas of New South Wales competing for the coveted State Pennant title. Griffith City Council has partnered with Griffith Exies Sports Club as an official sponsor of the 2025-26 finals.
The event was originally scheduled to be held in Griffith last year, but inclement weather forced a last-minute relocation. Bowls NSW is thrilled to see the competition return to the region, providing the opportunity to welcome some of the top male bowlers in the State.
The partnership underscores the strong commitment of both Council and the Club to promoting regional sport and tourism. Hosting the finals presents an exciting opportunity for Griffith to showcase its warm hospitality, thriving community spirit, and diverse local attractions to visiting players and spectators alike.
Mayor Doug Curran said, “Griffith is honoured to welcome the State’s top bowlers and their supporters for the 2025–26 BCiB Men’s Division 1 State Pennant Finals. This event is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our city’s vibrant community spirit, outstanding sporting facilities, and the warm hospitality that Griffith is known for.
We are proud to partner with Bowls NSW and Griffith Exies Sports Club to bring this prestigious competition to our region, and we look forward to an exciting week of high-quality bowls and memorable experiences for all.”
The event begins on Tuesday 4 August at Griffith Exies Sports Club and will reach a thrilling conclusion on Thursday 6 August 2026.
Bowls NSW extends its gratitude to Griffith City Council and Griffith Exies for their invaluable support and looks forward to a great showcase of high quality bowls.
