From Sunday 18 October, Harvest HQ hosts the Citrus Threads exhibition, free and open to everyone.
The exhibition is the part of Citrus Threads that lasts longer than an evening. It brings together the stories and selected works from the runway, and an oral history archive recorded across the region: growers, pickers, packing shed workers and the families who have worked citrus here across generations.
Where the runway moves, the exhibition lets you stop. The garments can be seen up close, and the people whose working lives are the subject of the work can be heard in their own voices.
Citrus Threads follows Vintage 2025, a sold-out runway staged through a working Riverina winery and a finalist at the Ragtrader Australian Fashion Industry Awards.
Opening: Sunday 18 October from 2pm. All welcome.
Open daily: 11am-7pm through to Friday 23 October.
Closing night: Friday 23 October, the last chance to see the work before it comes down.
Entry: Free, booking recommended. Pay as you go refreshments.
Citrus Threads is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.
This event is proudly supported by Griffith City Council | Visit Griffith.
Auspiced by Western Riverina Arts. Cultural Partner: Murrumbidgee Irrigation. Major Partners: Visit Griffith, Griffith City Council, Coates. Supporting Partners: Essential Energy, Ashton Taylor. Supporting: TIACS.
