HYPE is in its second annual year, representing youth and wellbeing for Years 10 and 11 students of local and regional high schools. Hosted by the headspace Griffith program and its consortium organisations, HYPE is set to be another successful, local event. Many services reflecting young people, families and carers are involved with this year, through information stalls, and/or activities.
Early intervention in youth mental health and wellbeing can make a real difference for young people. Strong community collaborations help break down barriers, reduce stigma and connect young people and families to the right support at the right time, building healthier, more resilient communities for the future.
HYPE is designed to bring an awareness of current community services, enhance stakeholder engagement and networking, and be a welcoming space for young people, to feel safe to engage.
If your organisation or school would like to be a part of HYPE (Thursday March 26th, between 10am and 2pm), please contact headspace Griffith on 0269623277 or enquiries@headspacegriffith.org.au
