She was a corporate executive with no background in adventure or athleticism when she began her quest to fly a wing-suit from the worldโs highest cliff. Yet she succeeded in setting a ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ for the highest base jump in a wing-suit, from Mt Meru (6672m) in the Indian Himalaya. She remains the only woman in the world to successfully combine high altitude mountaineering and wing-suit BASEjumping.
Heather says the most challenging part of this almost unbelievable achievement – understanding and transcending fear.
At a time when we are facing a โfear and anxiety epidemicโ, Heatherโs story and her simple but effective approach to transcending fear strongly resonates and inspires. So much so, she has been invited to share her story at events all over the world.
