Through fun group work and hands-on coaching, Queenie and Michael will explore musical storytelling, connecting acting and singing, and how to perform a song with authenticity and personality.
Expect plenty of laughs, supportive guidance, and techniques you can take straight back into rehearsals for your next show.
Queenie van de Zandt is one of Australia’s most distinguished musical theatre and cabaret performers and the founder and director of the Australian Musical Theatre Academy (AMTA).
Michael Tyack OAM is one of Australia’s most respected musical directors working across theatre, cabaret and concerts. His theatre credits include Cats, Come From Away, and Mary Poppins.
No matter your experience level, this is a chance to work with two of Australia’s leading musical theatre artists in a relaxed, welcoming environment – and to rediscover the joy of performing great songs with confidence, connection and heart. The Musical Theatre Masterclass costs $35 per person and a light lunch is included.
