Draw within the exhibition, surrounded by the striking imagery of Myth, Mayhem & Metropolis.
This immersive workshop offers a rare opportunity to engage closely with the artworks while developing your drawing skills in a dynamic gallery setting.

Guided by exhibiting artist Marco Luccio, you’ll discover simple, effective techniques to strengthen your sketching and build confidence no matter your experience level. All materials are provided and beginners are warmly welcomed.

 

In this workshop, you will explore:

  • Form, depth, light, and structure
  • Ways to simplify complex imagery
  • Quick techniques to build confidence and fluency
  • Approaches to developing your own intuitive drawing style

 

About Marco Luccio
Born in Benevento near Naples in 1969, Luccio arrived in Australia in 1974. As a professional award winning, full time artist he has held 50 solo exhibitions, has been selected and exhibited in over 208 group, curated and award shows and received several commissions including the City of Melbourne Bus Stop Program commission. Luccio’s work is represented in 42 public and corporate collections, including the New York Public Library, the Museum of the City of New York, The New York Historical Society, The National Gallery of Australia, The National Gallery of Victoria, The State Library of Victoria and The City of Melbourne. His work has been shortlisted for many major awards including twice for both the Dobell Drawing Prize and the Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing amongst many others.
