Celebrate Australia Day at the Griffith Regional Aquatic & Leisure Centre with a relaxing watercolour class for beginners by the pool.
We’ll explore colour mixing and brush techniques, then paint Australian native florals. Friendly guidance, step by step with Karly Sivewright.

- Suitable for both adults and young people aged 12 and over (alternate un-structured canvas art for children available)
What you’ll learn
- How to mix clean greens for Australian foliage
- Water control for luminous washes
- Brushwork for soft petals and textured stems

- Free pool entry
- All paints, brushes, and 300 gsm paper provided
- Take home handout
- Free BBQ and Icecream provided as part of Council’s Australia Day celebrations
What to bring
