One of the Griffith Musician’s Clubs most important annual events is our Young Musician of the Year Presentation Night. This event is designed to encourage and nurture emerging musical talent among local teenagers, helping them to develop their skills and pursue potential career paths in music-related fields. Submissions are carefully reviewed and shortlisted by a panel of club members drawn from diverse musical backgrounds. The Griffith Musician’s Club collate and then assess the nominee entries and select the finalists and performers for the event. Nominees and finalists are then given the opportunity to perform live at the Griffith Regional Theatre’s Burley Griffin Room, with professional sound and lighting provided. The event is open to the general public from 6:30pm and a non-member cover charge of $20 is taken at the door.
